New Bayesian PK/PD and "Odd-Type" Data Analysis Courses from Metrum Institute

Metrum Institute now offers two new courses for summer 2008! MI250: Introduction to Bayesian PK-PD Modeling & Simulation offers an intensive 3-day introduction to Bayesian modeling and the practical use of WinBUGS and R for PK/PD applications. MI255: Exposure-Response Modeling of Categorical, Count and Time-to-Event Data Using Bayesian and Maximum Likelihood Methods provides an introduction to modeling of "odd-type" data and the practical use of NONMEM® and WinBUGS for such applications. Both courses will be held at The Harborside Hotel in Bar Harbor, ME near Acadia National Park. Visit our training page for more information and to register.

Current Positions

Postdoctoral Fellowship
Metrum Institute has an opening for a postdoctoral fellowship in pharmacometrics. It will focus on the development of computational methods and open-source software tools for Bayesian modeling and simulation relevant to pharmacometric applications. An ideal candidate will have a post-graduate degree in pharmacokinetics, statistics, bioengineering or other related quantitative sciences, and skills in applied mathematics, probability and statistics, and computer programming. The position will be located in Tariffville, CT, a vibrant New England town situated in the Farmington River Valley. A competitive compensation and benefits package will be provided.

Interested individuals should forward a CV and contact information for references to Bill Gillespie, Research and Development Director. Metrum Institute is an equal opportunity employer and a 501©(3) non-profit organization.
